The thing that struck me the most during this review is the amount of polish that Cooler Master is really starting to show with these analog themed products. The CoolDrive 5 is certainly the most functional of that line, and features lots of features that set it ahead of the pack. Actual performance is along the lines of what we expect from a device such as this one, although the addition of the fan speed switch is a nice touch to help keep the whiny 40mm fan under control.
